Welcome to Research Opportunities and Collaboration in the Appalachians (ROCA)
ROCA is a partnership between the Appalachian Laboratory (AL) and the Appalachian College Association (ACA) funded by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The project goals are to provide opportunities for ACA faculty and students to learn new research skills and become involved in collaborative research with AL. Enhance the research and educational programs of AL by providing new research opportunities for AL faculty and students in collaboration with ACA faculty. This website provides general information about the project including scientists that are involved, news, policies, and general images. To learn more about the insitutions involved click here.
